USAT Liberty

USAT Liberty was a United States Army cargo ship torpedoed by Japanese submarine I-166 in January, 1942. This wreck dive will certainly keep you busy as the ship itself is an incredible 120 meters in length. It is covered in marine life that has transformed the ship’s remains into an underwater haven.

Tulamben

The wreck lies in shallow water and is considered appropriate for divers of all certification levels. The ship rests in 30 metres of water and is roughly 25 metres from shore which can be reached with a short swim. The highest point of the wreck tops out about 5 metres from the surface
